The Grid Microinverter SKU 11949 (SUN-M80G4-EU-Q0), 800W Dual MPPT , is an electronic device used to convert the electrical energy produced by a single photovoltaic solar panel into alternating current (AC), ready for use on the grid or in the building, with a maximum AC output power of 800W and a maximum acceptable DC input power of 1200W .
The protection grade is IP67, so it can also be used outdoors , even in prolonged rain.
The warranty on this microinverter model is 10 years .
The microinverter is a grid inverter, so it only works when connected to the electrical grid: it is NOT compatible with storage batteries, like hybrid inverters.
Compatibility
The maximum input power (photovoltaic panels) in direct current of the microinverter is 1200W (Max 600W for MPPT), therefore on each Microinverter it is possible to connect:
up to 12 x 100W solar panels, such as SKU 11568 (Flexible); or
up to 2 x 450W solar panels, such as SKU 11911.
Plug&Play Photovoltaic Panel Solution
The microinverter represents a solution defined as Plug and Play as it is placed on the back of the photovoltaic panel and then connected directly to the home electrical grid. Each panel is equipped with its own dedicated microinverter. This simplifies installation, reduces costs and improves the efficiency of the system, also allowing independent monitoring of each individual panel. Microinverters are also highly flexible and adaptable, allowing easy expansion of the system.
Remote Control App
Thanks to the integrated WiFi module, it is possible to monitor the photovoltaic system and control consumption remotely, via the Apps:
SOLARMAN Smart (Download: iOS / Android / Web App), for private and domestic use;
SOLARMAN Business (Download: iOS / Android / Web App), for Business Use, with the possibility of having a centralized view of all the systems created and issuing the end user with authorizations for access to the system.
Once logged in, to add one or more systems follow the wizard for initializing a new system, + button.
Connection
The microinverter can be connected to the home electrical grid via:
a junction box, or
an electrical panel, or
directly to the electrical socket using the special 5 metre cable with Schuko socket (SKU 11739).
The microinverter is designed to automatically synchronize with your home's electrical grid: it constantly monitors the frequency and voltage and synchronizes with them, ensuring that the energy produced by the photovoltaic panel is in phase with the grid and can be used to properly power the connected electrical devices.
